This was a very significant milestone celebrated and done with a commitment to Australian Manufacturing through our state-of-the-art production facility in Moss Vale.

The company is seeking a full-time permanent Full-Stack Python Developer with experience working with Python & AngularJS or ReactJS for our Information Technology team. This role will report to the Information Technology Manager and be based at Moss Vale in NSW.

You will be part of a high performing, small team of dedicated professionals. With your previous experience in developing web applications, you will join a team that is customer focused on delivering best of breed solutions.

As a professional software developer, you will be required to support various business IT transformation projects. You will be required to design, develop and implement new systems, convert legacy systems taking advantage of today’s technology.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
The following experience and skill set is essential for this role:

• Tertiary degree in software/web development.
• At least 3 years’ experience in developing applications in Python using Django, Flask & FastAPI Frameworks.
• At least 2-3 year’s Front-end experience in AngularJS or ReactJS, Bootstrap, HTML5.
• Having experience working with SQL, NoSQL databases.
• Experience in developing API Rest & SOAP solutions.
• Experience working with an Agile Environment.
• Experience working with AWS Services: EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, S3, Zappa.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to draw class diagrams and relational models.
• Superior technical documentation skills.

Job Duties:

• Collect, understand and refine business requirements.
• Assess and evaluate various potential solutions to meet both business and operational requirements.
• Design and implement features based on user’s requirement.
• Develop applications that are robust, secure and meet business expectations
• Write and maintain unit and integration test scripts.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues in the development, test and production environments and processes.
• Ensure software complies with coding standards and architectural design
• Active involvement in projects from conception to finished product
• Deliver end to end integrated solutions to fulfil business requirements

Good to know:

• Experience working with IOT devices.

You will be required to work from our office in Moss Vale, NSW Australia. The successful candidate will need to have full working rights in Australia, with the ability to work 38 hours per week.
